Exhibit Areas Children are delighted by exhibit areas tailored exclusively to them. They can:
• role play in City of Wonder, complete with a grocery store, tree house, pizza shop and drive-in bank;
• imagine and perform in miniature puppet and performance areas;

• learn about gravity and motion in Raceways;
• explore nature in the Nature and Science Room and outdoor garden area;

Discovery Series
The Discovery Series is a series of programs provided on an ongoing basis that provide an introduction to various art forms and promote early art appreciation and wellness for children. Special Event Series
The Special Event Series is a series of programs hosted by Wonderscope featuring some of Kansas City’s premier children’s performers. These interactive events help children discover and learn through fun, spirited and specially tailored performances in a kid-focused environment. Wonderscope is a wonderful resource to area teachers, parents and scout leaders, providing fieldtrip experiences that enhance the learning process and enrich the academic curriculum in the arts, humanities, science & math.

The KerSPLAT! Arts Camp and Workshops provide social, motor and creative experiences that excite a love for learning. Music, sculpture, painting, drawing, collage and creative movement are an integral part of this exciting program. KABOOM! Science Camp and Workshops
The KABOOM! Science Camp and Workshops provide guided hands-on experiences in an informal learning environment designed to spark a child’s interest in science. Integral to this program is the belief that science is all around us in everything we do. Creative direction encourages participants to explore, discover and learn about the world around them. As a special enhancement, a variety of performers and artists are partnering with Wonderscope for the summer camp experience to bring science to life through the arts.
